Government has constituted a committee to suggest ways for best use of Sporting Infrastructure created for the Commonwealth Games. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Ajay Maken said that the committee will comprise of renowned sportsperson and veteran sports journalist of the country. Maken said the Committee will submit its recommendation within four weeks. The Committee to be chaired by Sports Secretary will comprise of P T Usha, Baichung Bhutia, MC Marycom, Dilip Turkey and veteran sports journalsit K Dutta.Ajay Maken was talking to reporters after going around five stadia of Sports Authority of India in New Delhi today. He said these stadia will be used for running Sports Academies for imparting training to children, hosting National and International Competitions and training of National teams for London Olympics.
