Government is focusing to drive industrialization through the power of seas. It has launched ambitious Sagarmala programme which is aimed reducing logistics cost for both domestic and EXIM cargo with optimized infrastructure investment.<br />''<br />''Under the Sagarmala programme, Center is implementing 12 road projects worth 2387 crore rupees. Out of these, three projects are completed and six are in the pipeline. The work on 25 rail projects amounting to 2268 crore rupees is also in progress. Of these 11 projects are completed and six are in the pipeline. Besides,  24 rail connectivity  projects worth 3303 crore rupees are  being implemented by the Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited.  The government is also developing 11 multi modal  logistics park  across the country to boost the port led development. <br />
