The government has extended the due date for e-filing income tax returns till October 31. Earlier the the last date for filing the returns was 30th September. <br/><br/>This was informed by the CBDT Chaiperson Anita Kapur while talking to All India Radio. She said the audit reports which was also to be filed by 30 September, can now file by 31st October. She added that CBDT has issued an order under session 119 in this regard.
