The government has entrusted the work of finding out the quantum of black money parked by Indians in the country and abroad to three institutes. Giving this information in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, minister of state for finance S S Palanimanickam said that these institutes will also recommend ways to deal with the problem of black money. These institutes are National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, National Institute of Finance Management and the National Council for Applied Economic Research. He said that these institutes are likely to complete their study by this year end.
