Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Dr. E.M.S Natchiappan said that India is actively working on bringing more innovations into patent regime by adopting 'inclusive way of acceptance'. Delivering the inaugural address at the Indo – European conference in New Delhi today, he said the Government is trying to simplify the procedural complexities of the patent system to attract young and innovative minds.Mr. Natchiappan also stated that with India's emergence as international player in patent regime, Government is focusing on generating awareness about procedural patents apart from product patents.
