Government has distanced itself from the BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya's comments against Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said Mr Vijayvargiya is not a party spokesperson and he condemns his comments outright. <br/><br/>In his tweets yesterday, Mr Vijayvargiya's had alleged that Shahrukh Khan lives in India, but his soul is in Pakistan. Mr Vijayvargiya's comments comes a day after Shahrukh Khan expressed his support for the artistes who returned their awards and described them as brave.<br/><br/>Congress has also condemned Mr Vijayvargiya's statement. Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress President Kunal Choudhry alleged that the BJP is trying to vitiate the atmosphere of the country and Mr. Vijayvargiya's remarks are part of that campaign.
