<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The government today, March 15, dismissed a media report that it is planning new security testing for smartphones and a crackdown on pre-installed apps. Talking to media outside Parliament, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar described the report as false saying no such decision has been made. He said there is ongoing consultation between the Ministry and industry on a separate topic of mobile security guidelines of BIS Standard. In a tweet, he added that his Ministry is 100 percent committed to ease of doing business and is totally focused on growing electronics manufacturing to touch 300 billion dollars by 2026.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>
