<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Government has disbursed an amount of 30 crore rupees to beneficiaries during 2022-23 under the PLI Scheme for Drones and Drone Components. The Civil Aviation Ministry said the government notified the Production Linked Incentive scheme for drones and drone components in September 2021 to promote the indigenous drone industry. The Ministry said, the step was widely welcomed by academia and industry experts. The coverage of the scheme also includes developers of drone-related software.</span></p>
