Govt determined to work towards principals of Dr. Ambedkar: Gehlot

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar spent all his life fighting against social and economic inequality in the country, and the present government too is determined to work towards the principals of Dr. Ambedkar. Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Thawarchand Gehlot said this while hailing the works of the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at his 125th birth anniversary celebrations organised by All India Radio at its Mumbai station.<br/><br/>The Minister said, though being highly educated and having a horizon of opportunities before him, Dr. Ambedkar spend his life selflessly working for betterment of the downtrodden. The architect of the Indian Constitution always believed in equality for all. He said that the present government completed the acquisition of a 3.1 million pound three-storey house in London, where Dr. Ambedkar lived as a student in the 1920s.
