Senior BJP Leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said, the government is determined to roll out Goods and Services Tax from April next year. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Mr. Jaitley attacked opposition party for disruption in Parliament saying it was aimed at delaying the GST Bill. <br/><br/>He alleged that Congress party's real intent was to not let the economy grow and it used strength to try and halt the progress.<br/><br/>When asked about future course of action to pass the bill, the Minister said, the government will not disclose its strategy right now but it is firm to implement GST as per the set deadline. <br/><br/>Alleging that Congress leadership is not able to digest its defeat of the Lok Sabha elections, Mr. Jaitley hit out at Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi saying they could not stomach anyone else ruling the country outside Nehru- Gandhi family. He said for the first time in the history the top most leader of a mainstream party entered into the well of the house. <br/><br/>The Minister also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi saying that when one becomes a senior, mature statements are required but the more Congress Vice President grows, the more he immatures. <br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley informed that BJP will hold public rallies in 44 constituencies of Congress MPs and 9 of the Left parties to highlight their disruptive practice in Parliament.
