Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the government is dedicated to the upliftment of poor and downtrodden of the country. Addressing a program of PM Ujjawala Yojna to distribute free connection to BPL women at Lucknow, he said, the Centre has started work to provide piped gas to all households in a phased manner. <br/><br/>On this occasion, he gave away free connection to eleven beneficiaries. A senior official of oil company told that so far three lakh twenty thousand women of BPL families have been given LPG connections. He told that six lakh more applications have been processed and connection to them will be given by July end.
