<span style="color: #222222;">Government has decided for release of advance grant to implementing agencies to run and maintain old age homes in view of ongoing covid Pandemic. Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Rattan Lal Kataria said this in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today. He said, a total of over 83 crore rupees has already been released to the implementing agencies during 2020-21, till date.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry is implementing National Action Plan for Senior Citizens, under which grants in aid is given for running and maintenance of Old Age Homes to Implementing Agencies such as State Governments and Union Territory Administrations through Registered Societies.</span><br />
