Government has cracked down on a number of websites for spreading hatred and communal tension after the Dadri lynching incident. Replying to a question, during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju, said the incident resulted to a rise in the number of cyber crime cases registered. <br/>The incident involved the lynching of man over alleged rumours of beef-eating in Uttar Pradesh last year.<br/> <br/>Mr. Rijiju said, terrorist organisations including Al-Qaeeda, ISIS and Boko Haram have been making use of the social media for recruitment. He said, to deal with the problem, the government will treat the issue effectively. The Minister added that the Centre has a crisis management plan to deal with any kind of emergency.
