The Government has convened an all party meeting tomorrow, ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament beginning on Friday. During the meeting, the government will seek cooperation of political parties to ensure smooth functioning of both the Houses of Parliament. The Winter Session will be held till the 5th of next month and will have 14 sittings.<br/>'<br/>Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has also called a meeting tomorrow evening of floor leaders of different political parties to discuss smooth functioning of the House.<br/>'<br/>Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar had sought cooperation from all parties to make the session fruitful. The important Bills including on Triple Talaq and constitutional status to the Backward Class Commission are expected to be taken up for passage during the session. <br/>'<br/>The leaders of key opposition parties will also meet tomorrow to work out their floor strategy to corner the government on several issues during the session. The meeting, to be chaired by the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad, will be attended by the the leaders of Left parties, SP, BSP, NCP and others.
