Government is contemplating setting up a special fund for financing educational institutions and students. Replying supplementaries in Rajya Sabha, Human Resource Development Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal said that the proposed National Higher Education Finance Corporation will provide loans at low interest for setting up education infrastructure as well as to students. Mr. Sibal added that consultations are on with the planning commission and other Ministries for constitution of this fund.<br/><br/><br/>
