Hectic political activity is on in the Parliament complex to narrow down differences among political parties on the Women Reservation issue. The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi joined Mr Pranab Mukherjee and other leaders in the second round of discussions with Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav of SP, Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav of RJD and Mr. Sharad Yadav of the JDU.<br/><br/>The Railway Minister Ms Mamta Banerjee and Agriclture Minister MR Sharad Pawar were also present in the meeting.<br/><br/>Speaking to reporters after the meeting Mr Sharad Yadav said that the government will take all sections of the House into confidence before the Bill is introduced in the Lok Sabha.<br/><br/>Earlier Mr Mukherjee held a separate meeting with these leaders who are seeking a sub quota for backward classes and minorities in the Bill.<br/><br/>Mr Pranab Mukherjee is expected to make a statement in the Lok Sabha on the issue when the House reassembles at 2 PM.
