Government is considering the recommendations of Inter-Ministerial Committee on Lokpal and Lokayuktas and other related law (Amendment) Bill, 2014 for the establishment of Lokpal in the country. <br/><br/>In a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh said the Bill, introduced in the Lok Sabha on 18th December 2014, was referred to the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee for its examination and report. <br/><br/>The Committee submitted its report in Parliament on 7th July 2015. <br/><br/>Dr Singh said, the recommendations of the Committee were presented before an Inter-Ministerial Committee comprising seven Union Ministers.<br/>
