Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, his government considers farmers as Annadaata and not a vote bank.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' Speaking at Palamu in Jharkhand, Mr Modi accused his opponents of speaking lies to farmers in the name of bank loan waivers.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' The Prime Minister said, his government is working for providing houses to the rural people five times faster than the previous governments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' He charged the previous governments of criminal negligence in delaying for forty seven years the execution of Mangal Dam project which has resulted cost escalation from 30 crores to 2,400 crores.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' He appreciated the joint efforts of the Chief Ministers of Jharkhand and Bihar in reviving the project with the support of central government.
