Govt considering imposing a ban on PTI over incidents that took place on 9th May: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif

Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif today said that the government is considering imposing a ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the incidents that took place on the 9th of May.<br />''<br />''Speaking to media persons in Islamabad, Khawaja Asif said, a decision has not been taken yet, but a review is surely underway. He called the vandalism of military installations across Pakistan as coordinated attacks planned by PTI chairman Imran Khan.<br />'' <br />''Protests had erupted across Pakistan after Imran Khan's arrest in Islamabad on the 9th of May.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court (IHC) today ordered to release immediately Asad Umar, the secretary general of PTI, and a close aide of Imran Khan. The court ruled that his arrest was in violation of the Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance (MPO). He was arrested on the 10th of May, a day after nationwide demonstrations. Umar was brought into custody from the IHC grounds under the MPO.</span><br />
