Government is committed to taking all possible steps to deal with blackmoney, tax evasion and corruption in the country. Speaking to a group of select editors in New Delhi today Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said, that it is not a one-shot operation. Dr. Singh said, he had no hesitation in bringing his office under the purview of Lokpal. However, many of his Cabinet colleagues felt that bringing the institution of Prime Minister under Lokpal would create instability.
