Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh said, the government is committed to tackle the issue of corruption by using all resources at its disposal. Dr Singh said the finance minister has briefed him on the black money issue and the government is making serious efforts to deal with this menace. Speaking on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, the Prime Minister has appealed to Yogaguru Baba Ramdev to call off his proposed fast on the black money issue. He said, he has written to Baba Ramdev not to go ahead with his proposed agitation.Meanwhile, Yoga Guru Ramdev has opposed bringing Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India within the ambit of Lokpal. The Income Tax department has said it is ready to consider Ramdev's suggestions for unearthing unaccounted money.
