Union Health Minister J P Nadda has said the government is committed to providing affordable and quality health care to the people of the country. Chairing the 12th conference of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare to discuss the draft National Health Policy – NHP 2016 yesterday, Mr. Nadda said the purpose of the council meeting was to seek feedback and suggestions from the states, experts and civil society organizations. He said maximum expenditure will be done in key areas including primary health sector, mainstreaming of AYUSH and health insurance services.
