In Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawar Chand Gehlot has said that Union Government is committed to empowerment of Divyangs. <br/><br/>He said, three national sports centers for Divyangs will be opened in the country. These centers will be established at Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh, Zirakpur of Punjab and Vishakhapattanam of Andhra Pradesh.<br/><br/>Gehlot was addressing media persons at the side lines of closing ceremony function of sixth National Blind and Deaf Judo championship 2018 at Lucknow on Sunday. <br/><br/>He said that land for the centers has been provided by the state governments and the construction work for sports center will start this year itself. <br/><br/>Earlier, Gehlot along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth distributed helping aid to 4 thousand 115 Divyangs and elderly people at Gorakhpur.
