Union Minister of Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan has said that Modi government is committed to combat the menace of climate change. Talking to media persons in Agartala yesterday evening, he lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts for providing leadership in Paris Summit. <br/>'<br/>Dr. Harsh Vardhan is on a visit to Tripura to highlight NDA government's achievements in the past three years.<br/><br/>He said, the issue regarding a ban on cow slaughters has a lot of misconceptions. Dr Harsh Vardhan said that the act and the rules have been framed under the directions of the Supreme Court of India. He further said that these rules have been framed to prevent cruelty towards animals.
