Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the citizens that government is committed to bring back all the black money stashed in foreign banks. Addressing the countrymen over All India Radio for the second time in “Mann Ki Baat” programme today, Mr Modi said that the money belongs to the poor and whatever the amount deposited in foreign banks, the government will leave no stone unturned to bring it back to the country. He also appealed to the people to have faith on him as getting black money is an article of faith for him.
The Prime Minister said, last time he had talked about the upliftment of specially abled children and now, the Human Resources Development, HRD Ministry has chalked out a plan for them. Mr Modi said, HRD Ministry has decided to offer scholarships to the selected one thousand specially abled children for pursuing technical education. He said, one lakh rupees will also be provided to each of the Kendriya Vidyalayas and Central Universities for creating special infrastructure for them.
The Prime Minister also hailed the Swachhta Abhiyan, saying that good results are now visible. Mr Modi said, there are two aspects of this matter, first how the existing dirt can be removed is a challenge for the government machinery and they can not run away form the responsibilities. He said, the second important aspect is that now people feel that they will not spread dirt and children too are now aware about cleanliness.
The Prime Minister also said that those who do not have the facilities of twitter, Facebook and E-mail, can send their suggestions through letters which can be addressed to “Mann Ki Baat”, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. Mr Modi said that he will take their suggestions seriously.
