Govt committed to bring back black money stashed in foreign banks: PM assures people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the citizens that government is committed to bring back all the black money stashed in foreign banks. Addressing the countrymen over All India Radio for the second time in “Mann Ki Baat” programme today, Mr Modi said that the money belongs to the poor and whatever the amount deposited in foreign banks, the government will leave no stone unturned to bring it back to the country.

The Prime Minister said, last time he had talked about the upliftment of specially abled children and now, the Human Resources Development, HRD Ministry has chalked out a plan for them. Mr Modi said, HRD Ministry has decided to offer scholarships to one thousand specially abled children for pursuing technical education. He said, one lakh rupees will also be provided to each of the Kendriya Vidyalayas and Central Universities for creating special infrastructure for them. The programme is also available on the website NEWSONAIR.NIC.IN.

The regional versions of “Man ki Baat” will be broadcast at 8 pm on respective regional networks.
