There is a need to address the huge demand for coal from the non-power sectors including aluminium, iron and steel, while lesser demand from the power players should be addressed with proper implementation of UDAY (Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojna), Coal Secretary Anil Swarup said today. <br/><br/>Speaking at a programme during the Make in India Week in Mumbai, Swarup said that demand side for the fuel needs to be managed. He said the coal supply is not an issue, however, he opined that there is less demand for the fuel from the power sector.
