<span style="color: #222222;">Government is closely monitoring the availability of essential drugs in the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister DV Sadanand Gowda has said, at present, there is adequate availability of medicines in the market.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Gowda today reviewed availability of drugs for COVID treatment in the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the Drugs Controller General of India is undertaking a survey in the market regarding their availability.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a series of tweets, the Minister said, the allocation of 16.5 lakh vials of Remdesivir has been made to all States for the period between 3rd to 9th of this month.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;Since April 21, a total allocation of 34.5 lakh vials has been made so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He added that efforts will be made to further enhance supply in the coming weeks.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Gowda also said the production of Remdesivir is being ramped up by the manufacturers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
