Govt charges Opposition for dragging executive decisions to Parliament

Government has charged the opposition of dragging executive decisions to Parliament. Talking to reporters on board PM’s special air craft the Commerce Minister Anand Sharma made it clear that no executive decision has been discussed in Parliament so far and there are clear cut rules for it.

He was responding to questions on opposition demand to hold discussion on opening up multi brand retail for FDI. He added despite sensationalism by media, the spirit of FDI will not dampen.

Replying a question on the threat to withdraw support to the government by TMC, he asserted government is confident, strong and stable and capable to face any challenge. When asked about the Walmart controversy, the minister said investigation is on going on and he has no comment to make.
