The government today briefed some leaders of the Opposition parties on the stand-off with China and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir at a meeting in New Delhi. <br/><br/>These leaders could not attend yesterday's meeting on the two issues. The meeting was convened by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Defence Minister Arun Jaitley was also present. CPI leader D Raja, Arun Kumar of RLSP, Naresh Gujral of Shiromani Akali Dal among others attended the meeting.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters after the meeting, D Raja said, there was a unanimous view in the meeting that government should negotiate with the Chinese authorities to end the impasse. He said, on Amarnath terror attack, the Opposition are one with the government in the fight against terror.
