The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has ruled out a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the 2G spectrum scam. Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament, he said, after the CAG report is tabled in the Parliament, it will go to the Public Account Committee. He said there is no question of a JPC probe into the scam.Home Minister P Chidambaram also told reporters in New Delhi that demand for JPC is completely meaningless. He asked the BJP to allow the House to run.Rajiv Shukla of the Congress said the matter of the allocation of 2G spectrum is already being inquired into and also is sub judice and there is no need for the JPC probe.
