The Government asked the district authorities to furnish the requisite documents for releasing the installments of the MPLADs funds of the 14th Lok Sabha and finish the work by 30th of next month. At a MPLADs review meeting in New Delhi, the Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation and Coal Mr.Jaiswal said the state level monitoring committee and the district review meetings should be held regularly. He said the government is in the process of revising the MPLAD Scheme guidelines. The Minister also expressed his concern that some states have not yet completed their Tsunami rehabilitation work.
