Government has asked companies to disclose details about transactions involving scrapped notes post demonetization till 30th December last year. Besides, they have also been asked to mention in their reports whether the companies have made adequate disclosures about dealings in junked notes during the specified period. <br/><br/>The Corporate Affairs Ministry has asked all registered firms to provide details about the scrapped notes during the said period in their annual balance sheets. The companies are required to mention closing cash in hand as on 8th of November and on 30th December last year. In November last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced scrapping old 500 and 1,000 rupees notes.
