<span style="color: #222222;">The government has approved setting up of seven PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks in Greenfield and Brownfield sites. It aims at developing world-class infrastructure including plug and play facilities with an outlay of four thousand 445 crore rupees for a period of seven years upto 2027-28.<br />''<br />''This was stated by the Minister of State for Textiles Ms Darshana Jardosh in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. She said, a total of 17 Preliminary Project Reports (PPRs) from 13 State Governments have been received from the State Government so far.<br />''<br />''She said, PM MITRA Parks sites will be selected from the PPRs received from the State Governments through a challenge matrix by Project Approval Committee.<br />''<br />''She added, milestones for making the PM MITRA parks operational have been laid down in the operational guidelines of the Scheme which will be duly monitored.</span><br />
