The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has approved construction of over 52,000more affordable houses with an investment of around 3,000 crore rupees. <br/><br/>With this, the Ministry has so far approved construction of a total of around 13 lakh 43 thousand houses for urban poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). <br/><br/>An official release said, Madhya Pradesh will get over 25 thousand houses, Chattisgarh around nine thousand, Maharashtra 3 thousand 800, Nagaland around two thousand 500, Puducherry 720 and Daman 48 houses.
