Govt approves 25 FDI proposals of worth Rs 1546 Crore

The government today approved 25 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment, FDI of worth 1546 Crore rupees. The approvals were granted on the recommendations of Foreign Investment Promotion Board, FIPB in its meeting held on 29 August 2014.The government gave its highest approval of worth 600 crore rupees to the pharma company, Laurus Labs Private for additional investment in the Brownfield pharma company.Another proposal was cleared relating to the Flemingo International Limited of worth 150 crore rupees to carry out duty free business in India.Zenara Pharma Private Limited has received the nod to infuse of additional FDI of worth 16.94 crore rupees. However, one additional proposal of Medereich Limited amounting to 1800 crore has also been recommended for consideration of Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
