Government has approved 22 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment worth 3,951 crore rupees. The proposals have been recommended by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in its meeting held on 1st of August this year. KSK Energy has received largest FDI with a warrants issue of 1050 crore to its foreign promoter company. Norway based Telenor mobile communication has got the government's nod to increase its shareholding from 74 percent to 100 percent, worth 780 crores. Other firms including Baxter India, Verdant Telemetry, Tikona Digital, Shalina Laboratories, ARKRAY Healthcare and Ahlcon Parenternals have also received FIPB approval for FDI.
