The government has approved setting up of 150 specialized Investigative Units on crime against women in States. In a written reply to a question, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary informed the Lok Sabha that 50 per cent of expenses over the units will be borne by the Centre. He said, a comprehensive advisory on crimes against women has also been issued to States. <br/><br/>He said, besides the Home Ministry has also issued advisories regarding the missing children and trafficking in persons including women. The Minister informed that Women and Child Development Ministry has also developed a national portal called Track Child to track missing and found children.
