<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The government has approved the issuance of 27th tranche of electoral bonds that will open for sale from 3rd of next month. Finance Ministry said, State Bank of India has been authorised to issue and encash electoral bonds through its 29 branches from 3rd July to 12th July this year.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Bonds will be valid for fifteen days from the date of issue and no payment will be made to any payee political party if the Bond is deposited after the expiry of the validity period. The Bond deposited by an eligible political party in its account will be credited on the same day.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Electoral bonds can be purchased by Indian citizens. Only the political parties, which secured not less than one per cent of the votes polled in the last general election or the legislative assembly of the State, will be eligible to receive the Electoral Bonds.
