The government has appointed Ms. Stuti Narain Kackar, as the Secretary Department of Disability Affairs in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. According to an official release, the Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet, ACC, approved the appointment of Kackar, a 1978 batch IAS officer. It has approved appointment of S.K. Srivastava, an IAS officer of 1980 batch, as the next Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, DDA. The ACC has also approved premature repatriation of current DDA Vice- Chairman G.S. Patnaik, also an IAS officer of the 1980 batch, to his cadre.
