The government has appealed to the opposition to start discussion on demonetisation in the Parliament. The appeal came in the back drop of continued disruption of Parliament proceedings in both the Houses on the issue of demonetisation.<br/><br/>Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar yesterday said, the government is ready for a discussion on the issue. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the discussion and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will reply on the matter.<br/><br/>On a question why government is not ready to accept the opposition's demand for discussion under the rule entails voting even though it has numbers in the Lok Sabha, the Minister said the government does not want to send a message that the House is divided on the issue of black money. On the passage of Taxation Laws Second Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha, Mr Kumar said, it is an instrument to fight the menace of black money.
