Government has appealed to the All India Motor Transport Congress, AIMTC, not to take any step that may cause inconvenience to general public.According to official sources, Surface Transport Minister, Mr. Kamal Nath will again hold talks with the leaders of AIMTC today and urge them to withdraw their call for a strike. AIR correspondent reports that the AIMTC has called for an indefinite strike in South India from the 1st of August to protest against the hike in diesel prices.
