The terms of reference set today for the five-member committee headed by Justice Sri Krishna constituted earlier in this month by the Union Home ministry have evoked mixed reactions among political parties in Andhra Pradesh. <br/> <br/>The ruling Congress party has welcomed the terms of reference saying reasonably good and convincing while the opposition Telugu Desam Party and Telangana Rastara Samithi have rejected the terms of reference stating that it was yet another attempt to keep the Telangana issue in cold storage. <br/> <br/>Congress spokesperson A. Rambabu said all parties should welcome the terms of reference as the 10 months period is reasonably sufficient and the term of reference has given scope for wide ranging discussion to reflect opinions of a cross section of people. <br/> <br/>The TRS president K Chandra Sekhara Rao said the terms of reference were not conducive for the formation of Telangana state. Stating that his party would oppose the terms of reference, he said the time frame was not at all acceptable. Chandra Sekhara Rao said, development was never a contentious issue rather agitations took place for self governance and self-respect of Telangana people. <br/><br/>Former Union Minister and BJP senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao said all the terms of reference were already had been widely discussed and they are only indicators that the centre had gone back from its word for formation of separate Telanganan state. <br/> <br/>TDP leader and former Member of Parliament Dayakar Rao said the centre has completely changed the process by choosing the terms of reference and opening up yet another discussion on the basic issue. Stating that TDP has lost its confidence on the committee, he said his party would agitate for separate state for Telangana again. <br/><br/>
