Sports Minister Vijay Goel said, the government has always encouraged young players to utilize their skills in sports. Mr. Goel today flagged off second Slum Yuva Daud. The marathon which started from Karkardooma's Cross River Mall ended at Yamuna Sports Complex. More than 5000 youth participated in the marathon. He said, events like these enable the government to understand aspirations of the country's youth.The Slum Yuva Daud is a part of the Adopt a Slum campaign of the Sports Ministry and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh was also present on the occasion.
