No new taxes has been proposed in Delhi's Budget for 2014-15 presented in the Lok sabha today.
Presenting the Budget, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely also announced subsidy of 80 Paise to 1 Rupee 20 paise per unit to small power consumers in the city. For this he has made a provision of 260 crore rupees for power subsidy in the Budget.
Mr Jaitely also announced a slew of measures like low floor buses, sanitation and multi-speciality hospital in Rohini and 50 dialysis centers in the different parts of the city.
The Budget has also the provision for four new sewage treatment plants.
The Finance minister presented the Delhi government's Budget in the Lok Sabha as the city is currently under the President's rule.
