Govt advises pilgrims to avoid Pak visit

The Union Home Ministry has advised Indian pilgrims to avoid visiting Pakistan in view of deteriorating security situation in that country. In a press release issued in New Delhi, the home ministry says it is not advisable for Indian pilgrims to visit Pakistan when frequent terrorist attacks are taking place in Punjab province of that country where all Gurudwaras are situated. <br/> <br/>The government has cautioned the pilgrims to avoid visiting Pakistan till the security situation improves there. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent reports that terrorists in Punjab province of Pakistan have carried out deadly attacks in the recent weeks taking a heavy toll. <br/> <br/>The Pakistan government has also launched a massive campaign against the Taliban terrorists in NWFP to stop the violence in the country.<br/>
