Union Government has added around 169 flights to the Second Phase of Vande Bharat Mission to bring back stranded Indians from foreign countries.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''The extended phase with the newly added flights will commence from tomorrow. The world's largest repatriation mission, Vande Bharat, has witnessed maximum flights from the Gulf countries. The extended schedule as well, has over 140 flights for Gulf countries alone.<br />''<br />''With these new flights, more than half of them to the United Arab Emirates, the total number of flights in the second phase of the programme have gone up to 429. The flights have been added due to increased demand from citizens stranded in the Gulf countries and the availability of adequate quarantine facilities in states for the returning Indians.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''The additional flights include 81 flights from the UAE, 15 each from Saudi Arabia and Oman, 14 from Kuwait, 11 from Qatar and five from Bahrain.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Vande Bharat Mission, which began on 7th of this month, has already repatriated around 30 thousand Indians. The Second Phase had included new destinations such as Istanbul, Lagos and had increased flights to the US and Europe.
