Government is actively considering the revival of sick Urea plants in the country. Replying supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha today, Minister of State for Fertilisers Mr. Srikant Jena said that a proposal to this effect is under consideration of the Cabinet. He said that incentives are being given for the revival of these plants; however some plants are beyond recovery. Giving the House the details of the subsidy given on Urea for last seven years, Mr. Jena said over 19 thousand 692 crore rupees have been given in the current fiscal till January.<br/>
