<span style="color: #222222;">Government has accorded in-principle approval for setting up of 21 Greenfield Airports so far across the country. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said this in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today. He said, Centre has formulated a Greenfield Airports Policy, 2008 which provides guidelines, procedure and conditions for establishment of new Greenfield Airports in the country. <br />''<br />''Mr Scindia said, eight airports namely Durgapur in West Bengal, Shirdi and Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, Pakyong in Sikkim, Kannur in Kerala, Kalaburagi in Karnataka, Oravakal in Andhra Pradesh and Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh have been operationalized.</span><br />
