The Union Minister for Micro, small and medium enterprises H. Muniappa has said 2.34 lakh new enterepreurships and 21.6 lakh employment opportunities were created in the country under the Prime Minister's Employment Guarentee Programme.He was laying the foundation stone for the 100 crore rupees Tool and Technology Development Centre in Pudhucherry today. The Tool and Technology Development Centre, sanctioned by the Centre, will provide training for entrepreneurship Development and preparation of projects for 10,000 people in a year in the Union Territory.
